Review by Mom Does Reviews:
I was very happy to get my kitchen scale from EatSmart. It’s just the thing I need to get my diet back on track. It’s so easy to say you’re going to start a diet. It’s a whole other thing to actually do it. This great little scale is a constant reminder of how much I should (and shouldn’t) be eating.
It’s super easy to use, easy to clean and kind of fun! My son spent 1/2 an hour weighing everything he could find in the kitchen. Do you know that a fork weighs more than a spoon? ![]()
The scale runs on 2 AAA batteries (which were included) and it has a handy 3 minute auto shut off. If you start working on a recipe and forget to shut your scale off, it saves battery life by shutting itself off.
My favorite thing is the Calorie Factor and Instruction Booklet that came with the scale. It has a very helpful chart that helps you figure out the calories you are eating. If you weigh grapes for example, you multiply the grams by the number in the chart (next to grapes) to get the amount of calories. What a simple way to count calories!

I will weigh some items if I want to make sure I’ve got a perfect serving of something. It really does help when you are counting calories.
